Dr. DIaz Artiles focuses on the engineering, biomedical, and human factors of space exploration. Her work includes artificial gravity, spacesuits, health and space physiology. At Texas A&M University she directs the “Bioastronautics and Human Performance” research lab.
On January 05, 2021, Dr. Diaz Artiles described the ongoing accomplishments of bioastronautics and the challenges of designing the equipment and environment for living in space. She explained how artificial gravity and advanced spacesuit designs will significantly improve human adaptation to space.
