Dr. Liverman is a major force in the scientific effort to save the planet and all its forms of life at a time when most Earth systems (climate, ecosystems, etc) are endangered. She appeared 09/12/23 on SftPublic's Contemporary Science Issues and Innovations program to discuss Addressing the Threat to Earth System Boundaries. The ESB issue was addressed in a report of the Earth Commission, which emphasized the current threat to Earth Systems Boundaries and the need to include a just solution to the millions of people displaced by current climate and environmental disruptions. The report received considerable media attention.
