Meet Natalya Gomez, Ph.D.
Natalya Gomez, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Earth & Planetary Sciences, McGill University, Canada; Canada Research Chair in the Geodynamics of Ice Sheet - Sea Level Interactions; McGill Space Institute Member.
Dr. Natalya Gomez appeared on Science for the Public's Contemporary Science Issues and Innovations program on April 12, 2021 to explain the accelerating melts of the polar glaciers. She described the mechanics of the current melts and the anticipated (uneven) impact on different regions of the planet. She also discussed the research and modeling in this field. And --an extra treat-- she talked about her work as a McGill Space Institute Member.
