Meet Sushil Alimchandani, PhD
Dr. Alimchandani gave a Science for the Public lecture on the Self-Defense Mechanisms of the Cell at Cambridge Public Library (Cambridge MA) in December, 2010. (Dr. Alimchandani moved to India in 2011.)
Sushil Alimchandani, PhD. is a computational biologist at Boston University. His research interests include the computer modeling of processes involved in DNA repair, and the mechanism by which carcinogens cause mutations. An experimental biologist by training, he has investigated the differences between normal and malignant cells, and also the causes of age-related blindness.
